We knew we could call her and she would not hesitate to assist us. Emillie was also the celebrant for my darling husband Barry's service and we could not have had a more understanding, caring person. She made sure that everything was done when we were ready at the service and when she spoke to us or about Barry, she made us feel she really cared. So many people commented after Barry's service, how well it was conducted and the way Emillie spoke and consulted with us. She continued to assist us after Barry's funeral, not just in the days after but weeks after. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Stephanie was helpful & compassionate…almost like a friend. She tentatively booked Rod, the celebrant, for the service even before she’d met me…what a blessing. He was just who we needed to keep the family service from being a morbid occasion. Nothing was a problem & things ran smoothly.

We were even offered a quick viewing of Brian before the service…so glad we had the opportunity…

Emillie was a beautiful soul nurturing and supporting every step of the way. My husband was treated with the utmost dignity and respect throughout the funeral process. I want to say a huge thank you to Tony Hollands Funerals for their amazing service during the recent loss of my Mother in Law.

The staff were absolutely amazing from beginning to end. So very kind, thoughtful and compassionate.

We dealt with Emillie and she was an absolute angel helping us navigate our way through all of the preparations. Her communication was great and all of the arrangements were handled perfectly.. Emillie was wonderful with my elderly Father in Law and helped him through this very hard time with such patience and so much empathy. Emillie and the staff at Tony Hollands Funerals made this hard day easier and made our final goodbyes special.

 Jess made my Mother in Law look so beautiful and I thank her for the love and care she showed her. The whole team looked after my Mother in Law so well and really showed her the respect she deserved. We have been to 2 other Tony Hollands Funeral services before and we loved how they conduct themselves so we did'nt hesitate to use them for my Mother in Law. Stephanie, Shantel and the team at Tony Hollands Funerals organised the funeral of my 3 month old son with much compassion and grace.

Personal touches included allowing a viewing and dressing of our son in a room at the funeral home setup as a nursery, taking molds of his hands and feet and providing a wicker casket instead of a traditional style coffin.

On the day of the funeral they beautifully themed the funeral for Winnie the Pooh and included nice touches such as a butterfly release and allowing all guests to throw petals on the casket.

They gave a very dignified and special goodbye to our son and we couldn't recommend them more.

Having driven past the Brisbane office of Tony Hollands Funerals a few times I had read a brochure that was left at my mother’s nursing home. I had several such brochures at home and felt that the Tony Hollands brochure covered all the key points raised in the more glossy, marketing oriented brochures. As the only offspring and having attended a funeral for an elderly neighbour many years ago where only two distant relatives attended, I opted for a cremation only and internment in a garden plot. David at Tony Hollands Funerals was helpful and when I collected the death certificate, the front office staff member made five copies for me and had an in-house JP witness each one. Lastly, the letter accompanying the certificates stated that while they are not grief counsellors, details of a counsellor could be provided. A small thing, maybe, but more than was offered by a religious affiliated nursing home where my mother lived for almost 14 years. Highly recommend Tony Hollands Funerals.
