The Redlands area has a number of cemeteries such as Cleveland Cemetery and Redland Bay Cemetery . The Redland City Council is responsible for the opening and closing of grave sites and general maintenance of cemetery grounds. You can find out more about these cemeteries on the  Redland City Council  Website. We have also listed the addresses of these cemeteries for quick reference. 

Alternatively, you could use a privately owned cemetery at Great Southern Memorial Park at Carbrook.

Cleveland Cemetery

Cleveland Cemetery, Russell Street Cleveland QLD. (Entrance opposite the swimming pool) is closed but is still able to accept burials for those who have a plot or previous interment with space available.


Allows for burials in a standard plot and is organised in the traditional Protestant, Catholic and General sections.

Redland Bay Cemetery

Redland Bay Cemetery 19-27 Gordon Road, Redland Bay QLD.


Redland Bay Cemetery is the general cemetery that is used in the bay side area and allows for monumental burials or lawn cemetery burials without the traditional Protestant and Catholic sections. It has both a lawn section and monumental grave sites.

Dunwich Cemetery

Dunwich Cemetery is on North Stradbroke Island.

 

Corner Yabby Street and East Coast Road,  North Stradbroke Island QLD.


Allows for burials in a standard plot with or without monumental memorialisation and is not divided into the traditional Protestant and Catholic sections.
