Brisbane City Council Cemeteries

Below are the cemeteries that are controlled by the Brisbane City Council. The Council is responsible for the opening and closing of grave sites and general maintenance of the cemetery grounds.

If you need to purchase a grave plot for a current funeral or if you want it for the future, it is recommended that you go to one of the major cemetery offices such as Mt Gravatt Cemetery, Pinnaroo Cemetery or Toowong Cemetery. The consultants at these cemeteries will assist you to organise and pay this prior to a funeral.

You can find out more information regarding these cemeteries on the  Brisbane City Council  website. We have also provided maps of some of the facilities if you need to find a specific section or you need to know where to go for a burial service in the cemetery.
